Weekly Homework at Our School

At St John's & St Peter's C of E Primary, we believe that regular homework helps reinforce learning and builds good study habits. Each week, children are provided with a range of homework activities designed to support their progress across the curriculum. This typically includes:

• Reading books to develop fluency and comprehension skills
• Spelling practice to strengthen vocabulary and writing accuracy
• Maths tasks to consolidate key concepts and problem-solving strategies
• Comprehension exercises to enhance understanding and critical thinking
